Where To Say On The Full Weekend
There is no comparison to staying on-site at Craic by the Creek. Whether you’re bringing your own tent, staying in a motorhome or booking a glamping tent, being right in the heart of the celebrations is quite an experience.
Come rain or shine (hopefully shine!), staying on-site gives you the full Craic experience: reminiscing in the morning, laughing late into the night and having somewhere to retreat to during the day when you need to refresh—it’s unbeatable.
That said, there are also lots of great local Airbnbs and hotels that we highly recommend checking out. Keep reading for more information.
Please keep in mind that if you are not staying on-site, you will need to leave by 2am each night and will not be able to return the following day until the gates open at midday.
General Camping
Quintessential camping
Good old-fashioned festival camping! As you might expect, this is the option for those bringing their own tent, sleeping bag, pillows and everything else they need to craic on. You can party the night away and fall straight into your own tent when it’s time for a nap.
You’re welcome to use our excellent shower facilities each day and visit our charging stations to get your phone battery back up to 100%. Just so you know, we receive fantastic feedback about our showers!
This is our most popular option for festivalgoers who want the full weekend experience with their mates. There are no designated pitches, so if you choose to camp, arrive early to secure a prime spot and pitch your tent alongside your friends.
If you wish to camp, you’ll need to book a camping ticket through Skiddle. Each person staying on-site must have both a general admission ticket and a camping ticket. Anyone without a camping wristband will be asked to leave the site once the live music ends.
Glamping
Take Things Up A Notch
If you’ve been to Craic by the Creek before, you’ll already know all about glamping! Simply arrive at the festival and find your Bell Tent or Tuareg Tent set up and ready for you.
We offer a range of options, including classic and luxury glamping, with tents available for groups of four, six or eight people. If you’re interested, visit the glamping section of our website to find out more.
Please remember that a glamping booking covers the tent only and does not include general admission to the festival. For example, if you book a six-person tent, you will also need six general admission tickets, which can be purchased through Skiddle.
Anyone without a glamping wristband will be required to leave the site once the live music has finished.
Local Hotels
There are many great options available
We’re often asked about hotels near the festival site, so we’ve put together a list of recommended options within easy reach of Whitebottom Farm. After a full day of festival fun, sometimes there’s nothing better than returning to a freshly made bed, a clean room and a buffet breakfast the next morning. A nearby hotel is a great choice if you’d like to rest, recharge and get ready for another brilliant day. Please note that we are not affiliated with or working in partnership with any of the establishments listed below. We recommend carrying out your own research before booking. There are also several local B&Bs available, so Airbnb is well worth checking too. Many other hotels are available.
Live In Vehicles
Motorhomes, Caravans, Campers
These are some of the hottest tickets in town!
If you’re planning to bring a motorhome, caravan, campervan, trailer tent or roof tent, you’ll need to purchase the relevant vehicle ticket through Skiddle. Space at the festival is limited, so some live-in vehicle tickets may sell out quickly.
To stay on-site, you’ll need the correct on-site vehicle ticket, a camping ticket for each person staying at the festival, and a general admission ticket for each person entering the festival.
We’ve also recently introduced off-site parking spaces in a nearby farmer’s field. From there, you can either walk to the festival or take the shuttle bus to and from the site each day.
