The gates to Craic by the Creek officially open at midday on Friday. From then, you can arrive, have your tickets scanned and park in our designated motorhome and caravan area.

Following feedback from previous years, we’re also offering “Pitch Up Thursday.” This allows you to arrive between 5pm and 8pm on Thursday evening, get parked and settled in ahead of the big weekend. You can either stay on-site overnight or leave your home on wheels securely parked and return from midday on Friday.

If you’d like to park next to your friends at the festival, we recommend arriving together. Unfortunately, space is limited, so we’re unable to reserve pitches or specific areas.

Yes, fresh drinking water is available from the designated water point in the shower area.

You’ll need a valid motorhome or caravan ticket, as well as general admission and camping tickets for each person staying in the vehicle. When you arrive, your tickets will be scanned and exchanged for festival wristbands.

Unfortunately, electric hook-ups are not available for caravans or motorhomes at the festival. However, phone-charging points will be available, and the shower facilities have sockets for hairdryers and hair straighteners.

Quiet generators may be used where necessary, but they must be operated responsibly and only during sociable hours. Generators must remain outdoors, away from tents, awnings, doors, windows and ventilation points, with exhaust fumes directed away from occupied areas.

Generators must never be left unattended or refuelled while running or hot. Please keep their use to a minimum and be considerate of fellow campers. Festival staff reserve the right to ask you to switch off any generator that is considered unsafe, excessively noisy or disruptive.

For everyone’s safety, we strongly recommend that all motorhomes and caravans are fitted with a working carbon monoxide alarm.

If you are bringing a caravan, you must pull up, unhitch and move your car on to the off-site car park. You must do this as quickly as possible to ensure that your are not blocking other festival goers from starting their weekend.

Good question! Although our motorhome experience has been a great success in previous years, we’re always looking for ways to make the festival even better. Following feedback from festivalgoers who wanted to avoid the Friday rush, we introduced Pitch Up Thursday.

Arriving and getting settled at a festival can be stressful, so why not get ahead of the game? There won’t be any entertainment on Thursday evening, but the bar will be open. You’re also welcome to bring your own food, as our food vendors won’t open until Friday. The shower and toilet facilities will be available throughout the evening.

You will need to apply for this, cannot turn up without applying. 

If tickets are showing as sold out on skiddle, it is likely that we have reached full capacity for motorhomes, and no more will be released. 

As the name suggests, an on-site ticket allows you to bring your motorhome onto the festival site. You’ll also need a camping ticket for each person staying in the motorhome.

An off-site ticket allows you to park your motorhome in a nearby farmer’s field, which is also used as the festival car park. The festival site is approximately a 12-minute walk away, or you can use the complimentary shuttle bus. You’ll need an off-site motorhome ticket, but additional camping tickets are not required.

Whichever option you choose, everyone will need a valid general admission ticket to enter the festival.
