Three years ago, an Irish family based in the Wirral, The O’Rourkes, decided to book tickets to a brand new festival in Greater Manchester called Craic by the Creek. After what felt like forever, the covid – 19 restrictions were finally set to be relaxed and the new festival of Country and Irish music was the first time that anyone in the Irish community had been able to celebrate together, as one, in over 18 months. Nobody knew it at the time but what happened on that weekend in 2021 has brought about an exciting opportunity for Craic by the Creek and the O’Rourke family business, O’Rourke Construction Ltd.
After having an unforgettable time as festival goers in 2021, the O’Rourke family returned to Craic by the Creek in 2022 for an equally memorable weekend. For the 2023 festival, we are delighted to share the news that O’Rourke Construction Ltd have joined as an official Festival Partner for what will be the biggest and best Craic by the Creek yet!
