The Tumbling Paddies to play their FIRST EVER Manchester gig at Craic by the Creek!

We are delighted that everybody’s favourite band of the moment, The Tumbling Paddies will perform their FIRST EVER Manchester gig at Craic by the Creek in July!

It’s safe to say that the lads are taking the music scene by storm and are currently one of the biggest bands in Ireland! The Tumbling Paddies, from Co. Fermanagh in Northern Ireland, consist of Gareth Maguire (vocals), Lee Jones (guitar), John McCann (drums), Ciaran Owens (banjo & guitar), Martin Treacy (accordion) and Oisin McManus (keys).

In 2022, The Tumbling Paddies dropped their first full album, ‘The Way We Are’, featuring some of their top songs including ‘Pretty Girl’, ‘Springsteen In The Dark’ and ‘The Way I Am.’ Since the big release, it is almost impossible to spend a night out in your local Irish Pub or Bar without hearing one of their tracks.

'The festival was a complete breath of fresh air during covid times, it was sensational. We came home and said we would really love to perform at that, and two years later our dream is coming true, we can’t wait'

– John McCann

We strongly advise listening to the band if you haven’t done so already. You WILL love them! ‘The Way I Am’ has a few lines in-particular that will be stuck in your head for the rest of the day… ‘spend the weekends over drinkin’, Mondays over thinking’. Give it a listen on the video below.
