Sunday Funday – CEOL return to Manchester to smash it out the park at Craic by the Creek this Summer!

If you were at Craic by the Creek in 2022,  you will know all about Ceol. Created by Irish music legends Nathan Carter and Liam McKenna, the band is made up of Cathal (22, Dublin), Matthew (25, Donegal), James (24, Wexford), Daryl (26, Kildare) – 4 incredibly talented multi instrumentalist from across Ireland. As the ladies who were in attendance last year will vouch for… the only thing that comes close to their musical ability is their smouldering good looks! 😉

We are delighted that they will be returning for 2023 to dazzle the main stage this summer!

The popularity of Ceol has skyrocketed in the last year. So much so that within weeks of joining TikTok, they had amassed over 1 million views, making them Ireland’s fastest growing debut music artist on the platform. Upon forming the band, Nathan Carter said: “The idea came to me when I was travelling around Ireland and seeing so many talented young musicians singing and playing in pubs every night of the week. I thought to myself, there is an opening here for a great young band who play a mix of the old folk songs with a contemporary modern twist”

'CBTC was the highlight of summer 2022 for us as a band. It was our first time playing in England and the crowd were unbelievable. We are counting down the days until July 23rd when we hit the stage again, bigger and better than last year!'

– Ceol

If you haven’t had the pleasure of hearing Ceol yet, just listen to their version of Beeswing in the video below. Their mix of classic Irish songs performed in a style that wouldn’t sound out of place on a Mumford & Sons or Ed Sheeran album is quite something!

Tickets for Craic by the Creek are available right now! This is one weekend that you do not want to miss!
