Where does craic by the creek take place?

Craic by the Creek will take place at the eco-friendly Whitebottom farm in the stunning countryside of Compstall. Home to a number of music festivals and events, the farm is a hidden gem which spends a large proportion of the year as a fully working farm before being transformed into a festival site over the summer months.

Where Can I Park At The Festival?

If you are driving to Craic by the Creek this summer and would like to park close to the festival site, we would suggest using our dedicated parking field which is a short walk 5 minute walk to the start of Etherow Park or a free shuttle ride to the festival site.

Is There Disabled Access?

If you are coming to Craic by the Creek in July and have specific requirements such as disabled access or wheelchair access, please be aware that we are more than happy to work with you to ensure that your visit the festival is as comfortable and as enjoyable as possible.  Blue badge holders will be able to drive on to the festival site and will be able to park as close as possible to the staging or camping areas. You must register your details with our team in advance of the festival.  Once you have booked your tickets, please get in touch with our team to discuss your needs in greater detail.

How Do I Get There Using Public Transport?

If you are coming by Public Transport the nearest train stations are Marple and Romiley. Stockport train station is also nearby with buses every 15 minutes.

What are the postcodes for the festival?

Festival Site - Whitebottom farm, Etherow country park, Compstall, Stockport, SK6 5JQ

Directions : use postcode sk6 5hz and then follow festival signs

Do the food vendors take cash or tokens?

All of our food vendors and festival market stalls will be cash / card only . They do not use the token system.

I have tokens from last year, can I use them At the Next One?

If you have held on to your bar tokens from a previous year, you are more than welcome to bring them with you to the next Craic by the Creek. You will need to visit your nearest token stationed exchange them for updated tokens.

What time can i access the festival site?

The festival site will be accessible from midday on Friday morning. Whilst the entertainment won't begin until later in the evening, campers can arrive and pitch up their tents and begin the party from 12pm.  If you are a Glamper or Motorhome / Campervan ticket holder, you can also arrive from Midday to get yourself settled at the festival. The festival bar will be open from midday and food vendors will be on site.  If you are a general admission ticket holder and are not camping, glamping or bringing your motorhome to the festival, you can still turn up from midday if you wish. The bars will be open for you to get a head start on the masses.

What time does the entertainment start and end?

Entertainment will begin from 6pm on Friday evening and will end on Sunday at 9pm. The full music timetable by day will be released closer to the festival weekend.

When do I have to leave the festival site?

Sadly, all good things must come to an end. We kindly ask that all festival goers leave the festival site on Monday. Don't forget that if you are a camper, glamper or are bringing your motorhome, you are more than welcome to stay on the Sunday night and keep the party going till the early hours. There will be plenty of food and drink to keep you going!

how do I get a taxi home from craic by the creek?

If you are staying off site and planning to get a taxi to drop off and pick up please direct them to Etherow Country Park Car Park.

No Taxis can drop off or pick up from the festival site.

I am staying over at the festival site all weekend, what is allowed and what isn't allowed?

The bar offers card payment facilities We recommend taking enough cash for the weekend.

Food vendors will use cash and card.

Bar operates a token system (purchased by card or cash)

Camping / Fold-up chairs

Dogs allowed - must be kept on a lead. Owners must clean up after them and dogs must NOT deficate / urinate in barn areas.
